Working together to decarbonize the transportation infrastructure for commodities between Canada, Japan, and South Korea.

The North Pacific Green Corridor Consortium (NPGCC) was developed to encourage future collaboration between global industry stakeholders with the intention to help decarbonize the transportation infrastructure for commodities between Canada, Japan, and South Korea.

NPGCC

The NPGCC is a group of stakeholders from diverse sections of the value chain including bulk commodity producers, railway and intermodal transportation providers, marine vessel owners and operators, port facilities, port authorities, and technology providers.

The consortium continues to build out its vision and it intends to bring members and stakeholders together to advance research, knowledge-sharing, and advocacy to support future decarbonization goals of the trade corridor between Canada, Japan and South Korea.

The NPGCC recognizes there may be challenges in advancing key-focus area projects and infrastructure needed to optimize energy efficiency, establish low-emissions energy security, enable supply chain resilience, and help reduce emissions. The consortium intends to develop and implement a concrete, realistic and verifiable plan to accomplish its vision and goals.
