Our Intentions

As a newly formed organization, the NPGCC and its Members intend to collaborate and aim to support in advancing future projects that decarbonize the trade corridor and transportation infrastructure between Canada, Japan, and South Korea.

NPGCC’s initial key intentions are to:

  • Firstly, establish the overall strategy, goals and objectives of the consortium as a collective of members.

  • Take measurable steps to achieve the overall strategy, goals and objectives of the consortium.

  • Develop a concrete, realistic, and verifiable plan, with meaningful interim steps, for advancing decarbonization efforts through key-focus area projects and infrastructure needed to optimize energy efficiency, establish low-emissions energy security, enable supply chain resilience, and help reduce emissions in the corridor.

  • Advance research, knowledge-sharing, and advocacy strategies.

  • Increase membership and involvement of industry organizations, leaders, and stakeholders.
